Daily Panchang ("the app", "we", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. This policy is compliant with Google Play's Data Safety and Families requirements.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect data that is necessary for the app to function:

• Approximate location (optional): used only to compute accurate Panchang and Muhurat timings, with your permission. You may also pick a city manually instead.
• Birth details (on-device only): the date, time and place of birth you enter for the horoscope are stored only on your device and never sent to our servers.
• Device information: model, OS version, language, and crash diagnostics.
• Advertising identifier: used by Google AdMob to deliver ads.
• Anonymous analytics: screens visited, session duration, and similar non-identifying usage metrics.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email, phone number, or address (unless you choose to email us).
• Contacts, messages, photos, or files on your device.
• Payment or financial information.
• Health, biometric, or other sensitive personal data.

3. How We Use Data

• To compute accurate Panchang, Muhurat and horoscope results.
• To improve app functionality and user experience.
• To diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
• To show relevant ads via Google AdMob.

We do not use your data for profiling, lending decisions, or marketing lists.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — for ads: Google Partner Sites Policy
• Google Analytics for Firebase — anonymous usage analytics.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only with the third-party services listed above under their own privacy policies, or where required by law.

6. Data Retention

Birth details and preferences remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.

7. Data Security

All network communication uses HTTPS encryption. Sensitive details stay on your device. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect any data we process.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You can at any time:

• Revoke app permissions from your device settings.
• Clear saved birth details and preferences from inside the app's Settings.
• Uninstall the app — this removes all locally stored data.
• Reset your Advertising ID from your Google account settings.

To request deletion of any server-side data, email us at dhanush@vedictransitdata.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified inside the app and posted on this page with an updated revision date.
